T.H.E Industry Event
Thursday 31st May
12.30pm - 3pm
Room 118, Aberdeen Business School
We recognise that the on-going Covid situation is causing some concern about the state of the industry and career opportunities. As a team, we are constantly speaking to industry insiders and the message is pretty consistent and strong – the industry IS recovering, and will CONTINUE to grow in new and exciting ways.
The aim of T.H.E Industry Event (Thursday 31st May, 12.30pm-3pm, in room 118 ABS) is to demonstrate just how positive current industry managers and recent graduates are about the future of hospitality, tourism and events. It will provide an opportunity for you to hear the views of a range of key people, see some of the possibilities, get tips, and ask questions to people across a range of sectors. This includes several of our Alumni - a number of which have graduated during the pandemic.
We have been quite humbled by the sheer range and number of people who want to share their insight with you. We have speakers across all three sectors, and at various levels including:-
These are only SOME of the speakers, who will be partaking either via zoom or coming onto campus.
We have never organised an event such as this and as a team we very excited by it. However – Craig does have a little worried lecturer voice on his shoulder! It is YOU who can get the benefit of this event, but we really need your support and attendance on the day. We really cannot over-emphasise the time that many people are giving to this. It is taking a lot of planning, but it really is the time of industry which is so important.
So, we are asking you to register here to confirm you will be in attendance on the day. Can we ask you to register as soon as possible. We will provide further updates over the next couple of weeks. And please contact Craig if you have any queries.
